Oh, the Places I’ll Be!

We’re almost through summer, which means book signings and conferences time! Here’s a run-down on the places I’ll be. Leave me a comment if you’ll be there too!

Red Sneakers Writers’ Conference– August 31-September 3. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

This year the conference is being held in downtown Oklahoma City. I’m really excited because it looks like this will be the biggest conference yet. I’m even more excited because I’ll be teaching a class I’ve never taught before: Medical KnowHow for Every Writer. My husband and I came up with this idea last year, and it’s been so much fun working on this topic. I’ll be presenting alongside author Gary Conrad, retired ER doctor, about the pitfalls of medical scenes you see on TV, and how to avoid the same mistakes in your writing. This is a great class for all writers, as most genres usually include something some sort of medical situation. I’ll also be counting down the 10 movie medical mistakes, which should be a lot of fun. I’d love to see you there! I’m also teaching my class on writing a series character–and I’ll be adding some new insights to this one–son don’t miss out!

Wizard World Comic Con– September 7-9. Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Come see me and author Sabrina A. Fish at Tulsa’s Wizard World Comic Con! If you want a signed book from me, this is the best place to get it. Wizard World is an awesome venue, with vendors selling everything from collectible comic books to Star Wars lightsabers to costumes and more. I’ll also be on an author’s panel discussing publishing in today’s industry.
